Privacy policy

Vizikard is operated by Alexandre Lessard – Solutions intégrées, a sole proprietorship registered in Québec (NEQ 2269043040), based in Saint-Cyprien-de-Napierville, Québec, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use vizikard.com, app.vizikard.com and the cards published at cardname.vizikard.com, why, and what your rights are.

What we collect

• Your email address, to create your account and send you sign-in codes. There is no password.
• The content of your cards: name, title or company, highlights, the web address of your QR code, logo and colours. This content is public by nature: anyone who knows the address of a published card can see it.
• For organizations: the name, the brand and the email addresses of invited people.
• Technical data needed to run and secure the service (IP address, browser type, time of requests), kept for a few days in our host’s logs.

We sell no information, run no targeted advertising and use no audience measurement tool or advertising cookie. The only cookie we set is the session cookie you need to stay signed in to the card creator.

Why we use it

Only to provide the service: sign you in, publish and update your cards, let organizations invite their members, prevent abuse and keep the service secure.

Where it is stored and who processes it

We rely on providers that process information on our behalf, under contract:

• Cloudflare (hosting, database, image storage), whose infrastructure is worldwide, with the main database in North America;
• Brevo (sign-in and invitation emails), in Europe;
• Google, only if you choose to sign in with your Google account.

Your information may therefore be processed outside Québec. We only use providers that offer adequate protection.

How long we keep it

As long as your account exists. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes. When you delete a card or your account, the data is erased immediately; automatic backup copies are gone within 30 days.

Your rights

You can view and edit your cards, delete a card or delete your account at any time from app.vizikard.com. You can also ask us for access to your information, its correction, its deletion or a copy in a structured, commonly used technological format. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Children

Vizikard is meant for professionals and is not intended for people under 14.

Incidents

If a confidentiality incident creates a risk of serious harm, we notify the people concerned and the Commission d’accès à l’information.

Changes

We will publish any change on this page with its update date. Significant changes will also be announced by email.
